FAQ
Are you better instructors than others?
We consider ourselves as good instructors who have passed the DVSA assessment to hold an instructors badge. Our backgrounds put us in a unique position having been instructors and highly skilled drivers.
Do you offer discounts for cash or booking a block of lessons?
We offer a discount of £40 for pre paying by any method for 15 lessons. We are happy to accept cash as a payment method. We don’t offer a discount. It is actually less convenient for us than any other means
I am a Social Media influencer. I am happy to promote your business in exchange for free lessons
We would be very happy for you to promote our business too. Feel free to do so after you have paid for our services.
How many lessons will i need?
The DVSA suggest 45 hours of professional instruction and another 20 hours of private practice. Until you are in the drivers seat it is impossible to tell. We can assure you that to pass the test you MUST have the requisite skills to do so. It takes time and commitment and should not be rushed.
Do you offer a guaranteed pass?
No, but we guarantee that if you take your test when we determine you are ready, it is most likely that you will pass. Unfortunate mistakes happen on tests that cannot be legislated for, but, if your hazard awareness is excellent, you should be able to deal with anything that happens.
I have to take an extended test following a disqualification. I don't need lessons as I am a good driver. Can you hire me a car?
Absolutely ! but, only after we have assessed your driving and tidied up any bad habits you may have. Contact us to discuss.
Why are the pass rates so low at the test centres you use ?
The pass rate sits around 45% nationally. The main reason is lack of preparation ie , insufficient lessons. The 45% who do pass are not lucky, they have trained hard. Also take into account that people pass after a number of attempts and not necessarily first time. Passing first time is highly probable with the correct number of lessons.
Do you cover dual carriageways and test routes during lessons?
Dual carriageways are one of the last lessons you undertake due to the level of awareness needed in all aspects of driving before adding fast moving traffic, multiple lanes and entry and exit methods. Test roads are used but you wont learn the 50 or so routes that you could go on. On your tests you will be on roads that are familiar to you.
