This may seem simple enough, but if you don’t know how to do it, you will be searching for the correct control, take your eyes off the road and start drifting either towards the nearside kerb or towards oncoming traffic or into the oncoming lane.
On the Audi A3 that you will be using for your lessons, the wipers are controlled by the right hand stalk on the steering column. By pulling the stalk toward you, the front washer will operate. Keep it pulled toward you until the wipers start after the washer fluid hits the window. Release the stalk to complete.
The rear window is washed and wiped by pusing the stalk away from you in the same manner.
